Bihar State Seeds Corporation Limited BRBN has been started with the objective of providing high quality seeds to the farmers of the state. So that farmers can get more yield. This scheme is also known as 'Seed Grant Scheme'. Because this scheme is related to seeds, hence its name has also been kept similar. The Corporation has released an online portal (brbn.bihar.gov.in) for the convenience of the farmers. Which is used for online application for seeds, beneficiary list, distribution details and application status check etc.

What is Bihar State Seeds Corporation Limited (BRBN)?

The full name of BRBN is Bihar Rajya Beej Nigam Limited, under which it was started by the government to provide quality seeds at low cost to the farmers living in the state. Since, farmers do not always have good pure and high quality seeds. Because of which there is a decrease in the crop yield of the farmers. The price of good quality seeds is also high in the market, that's why the government started this scheme. To take advantage of the scheme, the applicant has to apply online.

Application procedure for the scheme-

First of all fill the online application form.
After filling the online application, there will be verification of the application.
Then, the dealers and suppliers will be informed for the seeds under the scheme.
OTP will be received in the registered mobile number. Which is needed at the time of buying seeds.
Then, the seed will be delivered to the home by the department under “Home Delivery”.
