The "Spells in Spades" Update for the month of July will be available in Arkesia tomorrow! The scheduled maintenance for the update will begin on July 20 at 12AM PT (7AM UTC), and it is anticipated that it will last for a total of four hours. The Arcanist Advanced Class, the Inferno Difficulty of the Valtan Legion Raid, the Challenge Abyssal Dungeons, a new summer event, summer cosmetics, and more are all included in Spells in Spades. The complete list of new content, updated features, and fixed bugs can be found below.

FOCUS ON THE BRAND-NEW ADVANCED MAGIC CLASS: THE ARCANIST

• The Arcanist invests unique playing cards with her magic and then employs those cards to achieve a wide range of different effects

• The Arcanist always has a new trick up her sleeve, whether it be slicing up foes with a deluge of thrown cards or summoning powerful Magick attacks from the cards themselves, and she can use these tricks in any circumstance

• As the third available Mage Advanced Class, the Arcanist will be added to the roster alongside the Bard and the Sorceress

VALTAN LEGION RAID - INFERNO DIFFICULTY

In the most challenging iteration of Legion Raids, known as Inferno, the goal is to demonstrate that you are among the very best players in Arkesia while simultaneously earning the prestige that comes with achieving such a level of success. Instead of focusing on the traditional rewards of gear, materials for honing, and everything else that you would receive in a Legion Raid, the rewards for completing Inferno boss fights highlight your victory with titles, achievements, Stronghold structures, and more! A brand-new in-game vendor will soon be added so that players can purchase a wide variety of illustrious rewards. These rewards will become available to them after completing specific numbers of clears.

There are several key distinctions between the Normal/Hard and Inferno difficulties, including the following:

As a result of the application of 'Scale of Balance,' as well as the fact that the raid requires the use of the Book of Coordination, your gear will be normalized in comparison to the level of your opponent in the Legion Commander encounter.

You will not be able to make it halfway through the gate and then return later in the week because the gate progression system will not be active.

You can play Valtan on Normal/Hard and Inferno in the same week, and you can attempt Inferno as many times as you'd like without it counting toward your weekly attempt limit for Legion Raids. This is because Inferno mode does not count against the weekly attempt limit for Legion Raids.

In order for players to take part in the Valtan Inferno difficulty, they will need an Lost Ark Bid Rewards level of 1445.

The MAHARAKA Festival and Waterpop Arena are located at.

Experience the chaos of a pool party in a new event that is only available for a limited time! Participate in a team competition in the Maharaka Paradise pool while attempting to drive the opposing team out of the arena by shooting them with a Water Pro water gun. The winning team will receive a prize. As the game progresses, the playing area will become progressively more constrained. If you want to win, you should try to rack up points as quickly as you possibly can. Players have the opportunity to earn Maharaka Leafs, which can then be traded in at an Event Vendor for a wide variety of valuable rewards. The event occurs every two hours. Check out the section below titled "Store Updates" if you are interested in fully immersing yourself in the spirit of summertime pool parties and other outdoor gatherings.

I DEFY YOU TO ENTER THE ABYSSAL DUNGEONS

Challenge Abyssal Dungeons is a new weekly event that will function very similarly to Challenge Guardian Raids, in that it will use Scale of Harmony to balance your power against that of your opponent in Abyssal Dungeons. The more difficult the task, the more gratifying the completion will be. You can choose the offering that is closest to your Lost Ark Class Changes level, just like with the Challenge Guardians. Various honing material selection pouches will rotate through the rewards, and there will be plenty of opportunities to acquire cards, either as drops or through the end-of-dungeon loot auction. Every week, you are allowed to complete each Abyssal Dungeon a single time (per roster).

GENERAL UPDATES

NEW PROGRESSION EVENTS

With this update, two new progression events have been added: the Punika Powerpass and the Hyper Express Event. Both of these events help a character progress more quickly from Item Level 1302 to Item Level 1370.

After players have completed Punika's quest "Berver's Friend" during the event period, they will be rewarded with a Punika Powerpass as a reward. In order for players to be able to access this quest, they must first complete all of the Adventure Quests (denoted by purple exclamation marks) on Punika in order to become citizens and collect stamps. After you have finished the last quest in this chain, "Honorary Punikan," you will be able to begin Berver's Friend by speaking with Nia in the village of Nia.

You will automatically receive the Powerpass once the event begins if you have already completed the quest before the update. Once you have finished the storyline on that continent, you will be able to use the Punika Powerpass in the same way that you did with the North Vern Powerpasses that were available to players in the launch version of Lost Ark. You will be able to bring an alternate character to that point in the game by using the Punika Powerpass. You will be able to acquire gear with an Item Level of 1302 if you have the Punika Powerpass. This is a Powerpass for an event that will no longer be valid after September 28.

Players will have the ability to select one character from their roster with an Lost Ark Craft Materials level between 1302 and 1370 to take part in the Hyper Express Event. If they do so, they will be able to earn honing materials and level up to Item Level 1370 more quickly. When the designated character reaches Item Level 1302, 1310, 1320, and then every ten levels until Item Level 1370 — which grants a particularly valuable reward — they will receive rewards for their accomplishments.

As players experiment with a variety of playstyles or quickly level up a brand-new Arcanist, we can't wait to see the new alternate characters roaming around Arkesia. We're excited to see them too! We hope that the new Mokoko challenges that can be found below will assist newer players in quickly reaching higher levels so that they can participate in additional events.

MOKOKO CHALLENGE

The current Welcome Challenge series of missions will be replaced with the new Mokoko Challenge after this update is applied. The Mokoko Challenge performs a function similar to that of the Welcome Challenge; however, it adds additional progression mechanics to the mix, which helps new players and characters advance more quickly through Tiers 1 and 2.

Mokoko Buff: Players who have a new account or who haven't played in the past 30 days and who don't have any characters with an item level of 1370 or higher will receive the Mokoko Buff. This buff is only available to players who don't have any characters with an Lost Ark Vykas Phase 2 (get more) level of 1370 or higher. Beneficiaries of the Mokoko Buff will inflict 20% more damage on enemies while taking 40% less damage themselves. You will no longer be considered a new adventurer once 90 days have passed or a character in your Roster has reached Lost Ark gold shop level 1370, at which point the buff will be removed from you.

Players who currently have the Mokoko buff active can participate in special missions to earn honing and other progression materials that will assist them in reaching  level 1370. After the duration of the Mokoko Buff has passed, the Mokoko Challenge missions will no longer be accessible, and any rewards for completed missions that have not been claimed will be sent to Universal Storage.
