Aaron Sorkin's film the trial of the Chicago 7 has a stacked cast and tells the true story of eight men (who became seven in the course of the crime movie) who were accused of inciting riots at the 1968 Chicago Democratic National Convention. If you like his works, the cast is very rich. This crime movie is a typical Sorkin.

Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer
Heartbreaking Henry: the portrait of the serial killer is a dark, dark crime movie, based on the true confession of Henry Lee Lucas, who admitted more than 600 murders. We don't know if all of this is true, but it's certainly enough to make the film even more creepy. Michael Rooker excels in this fictitious role.

The Black Dahlia
The black dahlia is a (fictional) version of one of the most horrible unsolved murders in American history, when a 22-year-old named Elizabeth Short was dismembered in Los Angeles in 1947. This film is based on James, the master of crime fiction. The event version of Ellroy, the new black crime movie of Brian De Palma starring Josh Hartnett, Scarlett Johansson and Aaron Eckhart.

The Stanford Prison Experiment
This dramatic crime movie of the notorious Stanford Prison Experiment tells the story of a social experiment that tests how a group of student volunteers will play their roles; Half were assigned as guards and half as prisoners. Billy crudep and Ezra Miller lead a talented cast.

Pain and Gain
Pain and gain is Michael Bay's film, but in this special case, it does not mean what you think. No, this is not a big action movie that explodes every five minutes. However, pain and gain is a true story of criminal planning, which will shock you once every five minutes or so. According to an article in Miami new era in 1999, the crime movie was mainly planned by mark Walberg, Stonehenge, Anthony McKee and Tony sharhob.

Changeling
The Clint Eastwood film takes Angelina Jolie as a mother looking for her missing son, only to be told that her son has been found - and the wrong boy. This story is somehow, at least loosely, based on a true story.
