We have learnt so many things in life that we thought would help us to grow. But unfortunately many of those things became a hurdle in life and we stopped growing. Now it is time to unlearn those obstacles and work on your personal growth by learning new things from your experiences.

We have learned so many things in school and believed that it was for our best. School learnings are believed to lead us to the path of success in our life. But is it really for our best? We must put some light on our school learnings and think about it another way. As a matter of fact, we should not believe blindly everything we are taught even it is at school. There might be certain things that we need to learn for our personal development.

The first thing we learned from school is making mistakes is something wrong and we must restrain ourselves from committing mistakes. This thing made us afraid of making mistakes and we used to feel guilty whenever we did something wrong. But the only impact it had on our life was to stop our growth. The fear of making mistakes stop us from trying something new in life and we never come out of our comfort zone as a result. Therefore, we must unlearn this and start believing in making mistakes for mindfulness. Mistakes will give us a new experience and learning. It is the only way to grow in life and move forward with strength.

The other thing we learned at school was to always fit in with the crowd. If someone dared to stand out or raise their voice, punishment was the only reward for them. So, it made us change ourselves according to the crowd we are surrounded with to fit in with them. But the real world always recognizes those who do not fit in. the people or the things that stand out are appreciated and recognized in reality. So, if you are always adjusting according to society, you do not need to do that. Stop compromising with the people and the situations.

Schools taught us not to ask questions to the authority and comply with all the rules and regulations. Yes, there have to be some rules in life but to accept every rule that authority is putting on us makes us feel less confident. If something feels wrong, then we must ask questions to the authority and raise our voice no matter how higher the authority is. Questioning things would only help us develop our own opinions and we would start saying yes to everything we are asked to do even if we have to go out of our way.
